Wonki Weather, the winner of the Korea Meteorological Administration Mobile App Contest Excellence Award, provides weather information by dong/eup/myeon based on data provided by the Korea Meteorological Administration.
With Wonki Weather, you can save up to five favorite regions and check the current weather, hourly forecast, weekly forecast, and fine dust pollution levels. You can also easily observe domestic weather changes using national weather, satellite photos, radar images, and weather alerts.
In addition, it provides convenient functions such as automatic alarms for snow/rain, fine dust, and weather alerts, current weather in the status bar, and various types of widgets.
● Fine dust
It provides fine dust pollution levels and forecasts for each region based on data from Air Korea (Korea Environment Corporation, Ministry of Environment), and you can choose between WHO and domestic standards.
● Snow/rain, fine dust, weather alert alarms
It automatically notifies you when there is unexpected snow or rain, or when the air quality is poor or a new weather alert is issued, even if you don't run the app. You can receive notifications at your desired time with just a few simple settings.
● Current weather in the status bar You
no longer have to run the app when you want to know the current weather. This feature allows you to check the current weather conditions with a single drag.
● Satellite Image
You can observe the weather changes in Korea at a glance through satellite photos, radar images, and weather reports covering the Korean Peninsula/Asia/Earth.
● Widget
Wonki Weather provides various widgets in 12 sizes. You can select the widget that suits your taste by combining current weather, fine dust, hourly forecast, weekly forecast, and clock. Here, you can also specify transparency and the action when touched.
● Theme
Various background screens and various weather icons that you can choose according to your taste are prepared according to the changes in the current weather, and you can use your own icon through the 'Custom Icon' function.
● Optional Access Permissions Detailed
Location - Used when performing a current location search when adding a favorite area.
Storage - Used to load a custom icon and back up/restore a favorite area. (Only for Android 9.0 and below)
There are no required access permissions, and you can use the app even if you do not agree to the optional access permissions.
